SEI-Futong Submarine Power Cables Co.,Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise jointly invested and established by China's Top 500 Fortis Group Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Electric Power Industry Co., Ltd. of Japan, one of the top 500 companies in the world. It is engaged in the research, development and manufacturing of ultra-high voltage submarine power cables.
The overall planned investment of the project is 2 billion yuan (1.5 billion yuan in the first phase), with Fortis Holding 51% of the shares and Sumitomo Electric Holding 49%. The project will be completed at the end of 2021, and enter into the production and sales stage at the beginning of 2022. The entire project will achieve an annual output of 1000KM, with various 35KV to 500KV AC DC submarine cable production capacity and equipment system, achieve annual sales of more than 3 billion yuan.
